This annual event held in Northern France has been popular with STD members for some years. In 2018 it will take place over the wek end of Friday 25th May – Monday 28th May. The rally is very popular and early entry is recommended. have a look at www.rallye-fougeres.org for more details.

Dudley Smith is organising a short tour of the Brittany area following the Fougeres Rally. This event is open to both members who have participated in the Fougeres Rally or those who want to treat it as a separate trip. The dates are 28th May – June 1st. It will commence Tregon on the coast, just west of Dinard where you will stay on Monday night. You will then move west about 75 miles for a two night stay at Treguier. The final night will be at Hede which is some 25 miles south west of ST Malo and convenient for the ferry back to the UK. For more details contact Dudley Smith.
The 2018 STD National Rally will be held at Duxford Imperial War Museum on Saturday 16th June. This famous airfield WW2 airfield near Cambridge has been developed into a world class exhibition of all things aeronautical. There are excellent facilities including two restaurants
We shall have our own parking area right in the centre of the museum complex and adjoining the runway where the action takes place. Have a look on the Duxford web site www.iwm.org and follow the links to Duxford. access will be by ticket at £12.60 per adult and £6.30 per child.
The hotel for the week end will be the Wyboston Lakes hotel which is very accessible from the A1. Lying in its own grounds the hotel has excellent facilities.
