Welcome to the STD Register

 

This friendly vintage car club was founded in 1950 and is dedicated to all who have an interest in Sunbeam, Talbot & Darracq motor cars manufactured up to 1935*. It now has a worldwide membership as well as sister clubs in Australia and New Zealand. The Register holds regular rallies and social events and publishes a well illustrated monthly Newsletter and several Journals a year. It also provides expert technical help to assist members in keeping their cars in use on the road.

The comment was framed for the Talbot-Lago group. I am well aware that there was no contemporary connection between the 200hp and the Earl of Shrewsbury's Talbots.

Your Talbot ancestor built at Suresnes - the first proper V8 - 22.4 litres.. LSR in 1905, capable of 120mph+ Go Mark !!!!
